Bebook Bus & Health For Armenia: Building Trust Through Interactive Healthcare Education

Empowering Communities, One Performance at a Time
At Health For Armenia, we believe that strong doctor-patient relationships are the cornerstone of effective healthcare. That’s why we’re partnering with Bebook Theatre to bring healthcare education to life through engaging, fairytale-inspired performances. Designed for children aged 3–12 and their parents, these interactive shows highlight the vital role of family medicine doctors, fostering trust and encouraging proactive healthcare in rural communities.

The Project

In collaboration with Bebook Theatre, the Doctor-leaders from our Healthcare Leadership Program have co-created a performance that addresses key health issues in a fun and accessible way. These performances will tour rural communities across Armenia via the Bebook Bus, directly reaching families served by our Doctor-Leaders, who care for an average of 460 child patients each.

Performance Highlights:
Duration: 40 minutes
🌳 Outdoor Seating: Performances will take place in specially prepared outdoor spaces.
🍎 Healthy Treats: Nutritious snacks will be provided for children.
🎫 Free Admission: Thanks to generous supporters, tickets are free (regular price: 3000 drams).
🎭 Interactive Experience: Children will help shape the story, making the health messages unforgettable.

The Impact

This collaboration has the potential to create lasting change:

By building trust and delivering key health messages, this project contributes to Health For Armenia’s overarching mission: ensuring accessible, high-quality healthcare for all Armenians.

About the Bebook Theatre Bus

Founded in 2021 by Ani Yeremyan and Ruzanna Petrosyan, Bebook Theatre brings interactive performances to young audiences using puppetry and shadow play. Their innovative, participatory approach engages children in meaningful storytelling, helping them internalize essential life lessons—including those about healthcare.

Support the Bebook Bus Collaboration

The Bebook Bus – Health For Armenia initiative is possible thanks to a generous donation from the Vahe & Lucie Foundation and the fundraising efforts of the Dance4Armenia group. You can help us reach more communities by donating to this project today.

By supporting the initiative you’re doing more than funding performances – you are fostering trust, empowering children with healthcare knowledge, and building healthier futures for rural communities. Together, we can bridge the gap between families and essential healthcare services, ensuring every child in Armenia has the confidence to seek care when it matters most.
